Alexis Helene is a self-taught, multidisciplinary artist now based in the heart of the Essex countryside. From a very early age her love and passion for art was evident, she was drawn to colouring books strongly above any other childhood toys. Despite knowing that art was the career path she most wanted to follow, Alexis faced persistent health difficulties throughout school. Alexis attended a college tailored to art and design but as her health declined, the distance between her and her longstanding passion grew.

Alexis still managed to graduate with the highest grades, working from home 90% of the time, and was accepted into universities but decided to take a break from the art world and explore other career paths. Although excelling in these ventures, Alexis did not feel challenged, fulfilled, or inspired in the same way as she always did when picking up a pencil or brush. Through the continuous lockdowns of 2020-21 Alexis found her way back to the drawing board and hasn’t looked back since.
Alexis Helene is now a nationally collected, self-represented artist. She intends to keep pushing her career forward, building a presence both in person and online. Alexis’ style and technique continues to evolve and grow and she is excited to see where her art will take her.
